Pure, wildflower honey is handcrafted into a silky, smooth, and spreadable treat, unlike any traditional honey. Our Creamed Honey is hand-crafted from our Pure, Raw California Wildflower Honey and transformed into a versatile, stable consistency. We don’t add anything to our Creamed Honey to make it creamy (not even milk!) The smooth consistency of our honey is natural and forms during our specialized process.

Spread your Creamed Honey onto crackers with cheese, fresh apple slices, or a morning bagel.

Stir a spoonful of your Creamed Honey into an herbal tea, hot coffee, or warm milk.

Storing Creamed Honey

As a smooth solid, Creamed Honey will remain at a stable consistency at room temperature. Refrigeration of Creamed Honey is not necessary, however exposing Creamed Honey to excessive heat may cause it to liquefy and return to a runny honey state. In warmer climates, refrigerating Creamed Honey will help keep your jar a spreadable solid.

For best storage, store Creamed Honey in a cool location such as a pantry or cupboard. This will keep the jar in a peanut butter-like state, allowing for an easier, spreadable use.

 

Composition of Creamed Honey

Our Creamed Honey is a rich, velvety spread made of 100% California Wildflower Honey - and that’s it! We don’t add cream, or any other ingredients.

Think of it as honey that is crystallized, as with honey that would naturally solidify on the shelf over time. Except instead of becoming crunch when solidified, creamed honey becomes smooth like butter.

As with all raw honey, the creamed honey will begin to liquefy when exposed to excessive heat or warmth. To return your jar to a creamy, solidify state, simply place your jar in the fridge for a couple of days until the honey becomes hard.

We’ll take our raw creamed honey and infuse it with just about anything - you never know what might be the next best flavor combo! While our flavors range in their names, from Sugar N’ Spice to Gingerbread Cookie, we never add any artificial flavorings to make our unique creations. For example, our Sugar N’ Spice Creamed Honey is a simple mix of our wildflower honey and cinnamon. And Gingerbread Cookie Creamed Honey? That’s a bit more intricate: it’s a custom blend of ginger, cinnamon, peppercorn, cardamom, allspice, clove, and vanilla beans.
